Meet Steve Liggett After graduating
with honors from the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism,
Steve began a career in the advertising agency business with Valentine-Radford
Advertising a small Kansas City-based agency billing about $12
million annually at the time. Throughout his business career Steve successfully led clients in the business-to-business, consumer and agricultural market segments. Steve's client responsibilities included work with Hallmark Cards, Ambassador Cards, Pizza Hut, Monsanto, Bayer, Butler Manufacturing, Sprint, Commerce Bank, Captain D's Seafood and a host of regional and local companies selling everything from copper solar absorber plates to seed corn to fishing tackle! Steve's experience spans every facet of the marketing mix from local store marketing, sales promotion and sales meeting production to strategic marketing planning; print, direct and broadcast production; new product introductions; and extensive new business development and presentations. His extensive new business development, presentation and strategic planning experience led to the formation of Trilogy Communications Company. Trilogy develops and delivers personal, hands-on presentation skills and strategy training and consultation; strategic planning facilitation and leadership; and account management training to a wide variety of businesses and institutions. Steve is married and has two teenage daughters. In his spare time he travels with his family, humors the trout while fly fishing in southern Missouri and northern New Mexico and indulges in his passion for sailing on a lake near his home in a Kansas City suburb.
